East Side Gallery - "Gaston" breaking through the Wall

In 1990, 108 artists from around the world painted the Berlin Wall on Mühlenstraße in the Friedrichshain area. The 1.3 km long original section of Berlin Wall will be preserved as "East Side Gallery". The depicted mural shows the Belgian comic figure "Gaston".
