Square
The Palace Square is the former site of the Berlin Palace of the Prussian
Kings, demolished in 1950. On part of the grounds the "Palace of the
Republic" was built in 1976, and has since also been demolished. The
"Humboldt Forum", a new building in the style
of the historic Berlin Palace, has been completed in 2020 to house the Museums of Asian Art and Ethnology.
